French is the second-most commonly spoken language in Canada. We prepare and familiarize our students with basic French such as Alphabet, colours, and days through songs. This creates a great foundation for our children within our educational system.
Learning basic Math and alphabets are important parts of our curriculum, as this helps the children in their early years, and provides them with vital life skills. This will aid children with problem solving, measurements, developing their spatial awareness, and teaching them how to use and understand shapes.
Through arts and crafts, children learn to value and appreciate artifacts and images across cultures and times. Experience in design, art, and crafts enables them to reflect critically on their work and the work that is done by others. They learn to act and think like designers and artists, working intelligently and creatively.
Developing early literacy skills makes it easier for children to learn to read. Children who enter school with these skills have an advantage that carries with them throughout their school years. Reading is an essential skill for success in school and later in life.
Physical activities promote healthy growth and development. Physical activities help build a healthier body composition, stronger bones, and muscles. It also improves the child's cardiovascular fitness. Physical activities help in the development of better motor skills, concentration, and thinking skills.
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
